Bio
Born, raised and home schooled in rural northeastern Washington state, I am a self-taught, artist and designer. I grew up surrounded by the contrasting beauties of nature, my mother’s extensive library of lavishly illustrated books and plenty of quiet time to observe, wonder and create.
I am endlessly inspired by the world around me --- both tangible and ethereal --- vibrant, saturated colors, overly intense light, fluid forms, jagged textures, vivid dreams and gauzy daydreams--- the sheer luminosity of life, humanity and the cosmos, often leave me speechless --- through my art I can express what I experience.
